Hackman Construction was founded by Eric Hackman in 2012 with a simple goal: do quality work, treat people right, and build a reputation that lasts.

Eric’s passion for construction started at a young age, working concrete jobs and on family farms where he learned to operate heavy equipment. Years of hands-on experience and a commitment to doing the job right shaped the company into the commercial excavation contractor it is today.

Laura Hackman joined the business in 2021 after building a career in accounting and earning degrees in Business and Accounting. 

After marrying in 2022, Eric and Laura continued growing Hackman Construction together by combining their unique strengths. Eric leads the work in the field. Laura leads the business behind it.

Today, Hackman Construction proudly serves commercial clients throughout Central Pennsylvania with dependable excavation services built on hard work, honesty, and lasting relationships.
